I Carry

A secret, begging to be toldStabbing, the pain never grows oldBurning a hole through my soulTrying to find a way out into our world, so coldBut it can never escapeAnd more lies are taking shapeOne lie leads to another, starting a fireAnd soon all that we know is engulfed in flamesAnd you have to walk through the fire to find what remainsPush past the pain, the sorrow, all that you hideAnd your pain and burns just lead to another lieSee More

Seeing You

I thought it would be okay to see her with you,Thought I would be fine with being friendsHearing about you together was easyBut it was quite another thing to seeWe both already knew how I feltBut it still hurt to see you with someone elseShe took you away from meThough you were never mineSo now it's just me and a  memorySo I won't cross the lineOr at least that's what I tell youWhen I really just don't want to know it's trueAnd want to think there's still a chance you could be mineSee More
